PHASE 2:
The roadway remains open with temporary lane closures:
• Main Street South, North of Beechgrove (around the Southern island) – East side of the roadway remains temporary closed – signals in place; and,
• Main Street South, between Station and South of King (at cemetery slope) – West side of the roadway remains temporary closed – signals in place;

In the last two weeks, the Contractor:
o Completed placement of top soil and terraseeding on Main Street, from Beechgrove to North, East side
o Completed placement of armour stone at median island, North of Beechgrove
o Completed installation of sprinklers at both gateway islands on Main Street, North of Beechgrove
o Completed installation of the flood light at gateway monument
o Completed installation of three centre median islands on Main Street, South of McClellan
o Completed installation of permeable pavers at parkette area at Main/Queen Intersection
o Completed installation of Canada Post pad on King Street, West of Main
o Completed clock turn-on
o Continued driveways reconstruction
o Continued installation of streetlight back shields on Main Street and McClellan
o Continued stone work at the retaining wall adjacent to the cemetery
o Commenced installation of pattern colour concrete splash pads on Main Street, from Main/Queen Intersection to South
o Commenced installation of decorative bollards at the parkette, cemetery retaining wall and McClellan Intersection
o Commenced boulevard grading, throughout

In the next two weeks, the Contractor will:
o Complete installation of decorative bollards at the parkette, cemetery retaining wall and McClellan Intersection
o Complete installation of pattern colour concrete splash pads on Main Street, from Main/Queen Intersection to South
o Continue driveways reconstruction
o Commence installation of decorative fencing at the retaining wall adjacent to the cemetery
o Commence installation of street furniture, throughout
o Commence placement of top soil and shrubs/trees
o Commence installation of armour stone retaining walls, throughout

Main Street South, North of Beechgrove (around the Southern island) – East side of the roadway remains temporary closed – signals in place; and, Main Street South, between South of Alton Greenhouses and McClellan Road – East side of the roadway remains temporary closed – signals in place. Main Street South, between Station and South of King (at cemetery slope) – West side of the roadway remains temporary closed – signals in place; 

In the last two weeks, the Contractor:

+ Completed installation of rest area/Canada Post pad on Main Street, South of McClellan
+ Completed grading, forming and pouring concrete sidewalk along the West side of Main Street, South of McClellan
+ Completed grading, forming and pouring concrete sidewalk along the North side of McClellan, between Main and Agnes
+ Completed grading, forming and pouring concrete sidewalk along the retaining wall adjacent to the cemetery
+ Completed masonry work at Gateway monument, on Main Street
+ Completed installation of permeable pavers at on-street lay-bys along the West side of Main Street, South of McClellan
+ Completed pouring curbs for flower beds along the East side of Main Street, from Station to Main/Queen Intersection, including parkette area
+ Completed adjustments and repairs to curbs and sidewalks
+ Completed backfilling the retaining wall adjacent to the cemetery
+ Completed straightening streetlight poles on Main Street and McClellan
+ Continued driveways reconstruction
+ Commenced stone work at the retaining wall adjacent to the cemetery
+ Commenced placement of top soil and terraseeding on Main Street, from Beechgrove to North, West side
+ Commenced installation of three centre median islands on Main Street, South of McClellan


In the next two weeks, the Contractor will:
+ Complete installation of decorative fencing at the retaining wall adjacent to the cemetery
