Update on Queen Street East from the Region of Peel

An update from Serguei Kabanov, Project Manager at the Region of Peel
 
In the last two weeks, the Contractor:
+ Completed installation of ‘H’ piles for the new bridge abutments on the East side of the Creek
+ Completed pouring concrete for pre-cast arch culvert footing, West side
+ Completed the removal of existing concrete box culvert for Tributary to the Shaw’s Creek
+ Completed storm sewer installation on the West side of the Creek
+ Commenced excavation, forming, placement of reinforcing steel for pre-cast arch culvert footing, East side
+ Commenced pouring new concrete curbs on the East side of the Creek
+ Continued building proposed roadway on the East side of the Creek by placing limestone materials
In the next two weeks, the Contractor will:
+ Continue pouring new concrete curbs on the East side of the Creek
+ Complete Tributary to the Shaw’s Creek restoration
+ Complete pouring concrete for pre-cast arch culvert footing, East side
+ Commence installation of ‘H’ piles for the new bridge abutments on the West side of the Creek
+ Commence and complete Tributary to the Shaw’s Creek restoration
+ Commence excavation, forming, placement of reinforcing steel for the new bridge abutment, East side
