Update on Queen Street East from the Region of Peel

In the last two weeks, the Contractor:
+ Completed framing underside of the new bridge
+ Completed installation of remaining vegetated retaining walls
+ Completed installation of remaining storm sewer 
+ Completed terraseeding slopes and ditches at the East Limit and hydroseeding vegetated retaining wall
+ Commenced placement of structural steel for the new bridge beck
+ Commenced forming parapet walls and posts for the new culvert
+ Continued installation of decorative streetlight poles and underground, throughout
+ Continued placement of curbs and sidewalks, throughout
+ Continued road excavation and granular placement at the West Limit

In the next two weeks, the Contractor will:
+ Complete hydroseeding remaining vegetated retaining wall
+ Complete forming and pouring concrete for parapet walls and posts for the new culvert
+ Complete placement of structural steel for the new bridge beck
+ Continue granular placement at the West Limit
+ Continue placement of curbs and sidewalks, throughout
+ Continue installation of decorative streetlight poles and underground wire, throughout
+ Commence placement of base asphalt for the roadway
+ Commence placement of permeable paver stones at lay-by parking
+ Commence construction of rest areas, throughout
