Update on Queen Street East from the Region of Peel

In the last two weeks, the Contractor:
+ Completed placement of permeable paver stones at lay-by parking
+ Completed construction of rest areas, East end of the project
+ Completed construction of rest areas, West end of the project
+ Completed installation of street furniture and garbage bins
+ Completed pouring concrete for approach slabs for the new bridge
+ Commenced forming and placement of structural steel for parapet walls and posts for the new bridge
+ Commenced installation of luminaires, decorative pedestrian streetlight mast arms, banner arms and flower pot holders, throughout
 
In the next two weeks, the Contractor will:
+ Complete placement of curbs and sidewalks, throughout
+ Complete pouring concrete for parapet walls and posts for the new bridge
+ Complete bridge deck waterproofing
+ Complete placement of base asphalt on the new bridge
+ Continue installation of luminaires, decorative pedestrian streetlight mast arms, banner arms and flower pot holders, throughout
+ Commence installation of signage
+ Commence installation of guide rail and chain link fence
+ Commence gateway monument construction
